Dr. Sanaa Kaddoura is a builder of AI-driven solutions, leveraging large language models (LLMs) and machine learning to solve real-world challenges across cybersecurity, social protection, and sustainability. Her work translates cutting-edge research into deployable systems that support public institutions, industry partners, and communities across the Arabic-speaking world.
She is a champion of open innovation, creating open-source Arabic datasets that power language technology solutions adopted by researchers, startups, and government agencies. Her commitment to applied impact is evident in achievements such as mentoring a student team whose intrusion detection system was selected by the UAE Ministry of Defense for national deployment.
In 2025, Dr. Kaddoura was awarded 3rd place at the World Police Summit for Best Artificial Intelligence Implementation in Policing, recognizing her excellence in applying AI to critical security domains.
She has been named among the Top 2% of researchers worldwide (Stanford/Elsevier 2024), serves as an Academic Editor for PLOS ONE, is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy, and is a member of the Cyber Pulse Initiative for Women and Families, supported by the UAE Cybersecurity Council.
Her mission is to drive ethical, efficient, and context-aware AI innovation, empowering both the private and public sectors in the Arabic-speaking world.
